Between Via Senato and Via della Spiga, The Carlton Milan marks the return of a grand hotel to the heart of Milan’s Quadrilatero. Rocco Forte Hotels has transformed the building into a contemporary five-star property, with a redesign led by Philip Vergeylen and Paolo Moschino under the creative direction of Olga Polizzi. The aesthetic speaks to Art Déco through rich materials, saturated colors and spaces shaped around a sense of timeless elegance.
The Rooms at The Carlton Milan and the Food & Beverage Experience

The seventy-one rooms and suites introduce an idea of urban intimacy, conceived for guests who want a quiet refuge just steps from the city’s most central streets. The true center of gravity is the food and beverage offering. Spiga, the restaurant signed by Fulvio Pierangelini, presents an essential, sincere cuisine guided by the seasons and a meticulous focus on ingredient quality. Service helps build a familiar warmth while maintaining the tone of a high- level dining address. Next door, Cafe Floretta opens a more informal chapter. With direct access from Via della Spiga, it stands out for an interior inspired by the botanical world and lit by the large dome above the room: a place for meetings, appointments and unhurried breaks, with offerings suited for hotel guests and Milanese residents throughout the day.
The Bar Experience Curated by Salvatore Calabrese

The Carlton Bar adds a different dimension, one charged with energy. The drink lists created by Salvatore Calabrese in collaboration with Luca Ardito, Director of Bars at The Carlton Milan, draw on the vibrant city scene of the Sixties and Eighties, reinterpreted with technical finesse and international sensibility. Aperitivo takes on a new expression here, shaped by contemporary classics and an atmosphere that feels bright and open — ideal for visitors and locals alike.
The future of The Carlton Milan

Spring will also bring the opening of the internal garden, adding a touch of greenery at the heart of the Quadrilatero. Under the leadership of Francesco Roccato, The Carlton aims to become a reference point for the city: a destination that combines hospitality, gastronomy and lifestyle with an international outlook, giving this part of Milan a hotel able to enter the local rhythm with character and continuity.
