From October 5 to 7, Line Athens will take over LOM Dopolavoro with cocktails, food and a series of workshops. On October 7, ahead of The 50 Bars 2026 ceremony, Sip & Guzzle and Hope & Sesame will join the team behind the bar for an early party celebrating the winners of the ranking’s regional editions.
Line Athens Takes Over LOM Dopolavoro

For three days in October, Milan will get a taste of Line Athens without leaving the city. Three Cents, the premium mixer brand and Official Mixers Partner of The 50 Bars, is bringing the Athens bar to LOM Dopolavoro for a residency from October 5 to 7, during The 50 Bars 2026 celebrations, held in Italy for the first time. Created in partnership with Coqtail – for fine drinkers, the project revolves around one particular cocktail format: the highball, a style that has been closely linked to the growth of Three Cents and has long provided bartenders with a deceptively simple framework for experimentation.
Three Cents was founded in Athens in 2014, when a group of bartenders set out to create the mixer they wanted to use in their own cocktails. Now part of the Coca-Cola HBC 24/7 portfolio, the brand offers a range designed to balance ingredients while maintaining intense carbonation through the final sip. Throughout the three-day residency, its mixers will underpin a selection of highballs created by Line Athens, spanning zero- and low-alcohol serves and signature long drinks. The program, titled Line Experience, Crafted by Three Cents, will also include limited-capacity workshops, a podcast bringing together voices from across the industry to discuss contemporary mixology, and a guest shift featuring Sip & Guzzle from New York and Hope & Sesame from Guangzhou.
October 5 and 6: From Filter Coffee to the Line x Three Cents Menu

On the first two days, from noon to 3 p.m., Line Athens will bring its filter coffee program to LOM Dopolavoro. The selection will include Cold Brew with Three Cents Tonic Water, alongside two Vermouth Highballs made with vermouths produced in-house by the Athens bar: one topped with Three Cents Fig Leaf Soda, the other with Three Cents Dry Tonic. A selection of Line’s most representative dishes will be served alongside the drinks.
From 3 to 8 p.m., the focus will shift to the Line x Three Cents menu. Signatures include the Delusional Margarita, made with tequila, mustard, ketchup, potato water and spices. Three highballs will also be served, among them the Honey Paloma, combining Three Cents Pink Grapefruit Soda, tequila and honey kombucha.
The menu will also feature a tasting of four Why-Ins, Line’s fruit-based fermented drinks developed by its mixology team with winemaker Thanos Georgilas. Each will be paired with a dish from the bar’s kitchen, offering another way into Line’s work beyond the cocktail glass.
The Workshops: Inside Line’s Creative Process

On October 5 and 6, guests will also have the opportunity to explore some of the processes that take place before service begins. From 2 to 3 p.m., Circular Thinking in Line’s Food will examine the methods the kitchen uses to transform and preserve ingredients. Fruit fermentation will take center stage during The Art of Making Why-Ins, held in two sessions, from 4 to 4:30 p.m. and again from 5 to 5:30 p.m. The workshops will trace the journey ingredients take before reaching the plate or glass, from preservation to fermentation, while exploring how the team applies these techniques to reduce waste.
It is an approach deeply embedded in Line’s Athens home, housed in a former art gallery. Founded by Vasilis Kyritsis, Nikos Bakoulis, Dimitris Dafopoulos and Aimilia Bagia, the bar works closely with farmers, producers and artisans. Its research into fruit wines, fermentation and raw ingredients runs through its cocktails, food and service. In 2025, Line placed No. 8 in The 50 Bars; in 2026, it took the No. 1 spot in The 50 Bars Europe, earning the titles of The Best Bar in Europe and The Best Bar in Greece.
October 7: Three Bars for the Regional Winners Early Party

On October 7, the day of The 50 Bars 2026 ceremony, the pop-up will open from noon to 2 p.m. with a Line x Three Cents menu dedicated to zero- and low-alcohol highballs. From 2 to 5 p.m., LOM Dopolavoro will host the Regional Winners Early Party. Joining the Line team behind the bar will be Sip & Guzzle from New York, ranked No. 1 in The 50 Bars North America 2026, and Hope & Sesame from Guangzhou, ranked No. 1 in The 50 Bars Asia 2026. Each of the three bars will serve its own highball made with Three Cents: three distinct takes on the same format, served just hours before the awards ceremony.
