Little Tobago, il nuovo grill cocktail bar di Chinatown

Little Tobago Opens in Chinatown, Bringing a New Grill Cocktail Bar to Milan

Behind the gate at Via Giorgione 2 once stood a flour warehouse. Today, that same space becomes one of Milan’s newest addresses for dining, drinking, and settling in for the entire evening. Little Tobago opens with the ambition of transforming an industrial building into a lively destination, designed to shift in mood depending on the floor, the hour, and the energy of the night.

It may be called Little Tobago, though there is little about it that feels small. In the heart of Chinatown, this new cosmopolitan grill cocktail bar bears the signature of Alessandro Mario Cesario and Christian Brigliadoro, already connected to the Casa Tobago universe within the Sequoia Group, which in recent years has built a portfolio of well-frequented Milan venues including Casa Sofia, Santa Hi-Fi Club, and Sali Rooftop.

What to Eat and Drink at Little Tobago – Ground Floor

Little Tobago appears cut from the same cloth. Housed in a former flour warehouse, it retains the generous proportions and industrial character of the original space, now softened by low lighting, warm materials, and large communal tables designed for lingering.

The venue unfolds across multiple levels. On the ground floor, Little Tobago – Ground Floor forms the most energetic part of the project, where the chef and kitchen team work around a large kitchen table conceived for shared dining and an interactive service style. Fabrics and wallpaper meet textured terracotta and deep green surfaces, creating a welcoming contemporary setting that encourages guests to spend the entire evening in one place.

The menu, developed by F&B manager Alberto Corvi, is built around sharing. Dishes are offered in small or regular portions, allowing guests to shape the table as they wish, moving from beef tartare to ceviche, roast beef to lobster roll, marinated skewers and grilled cuts, alongside vegetarian options and more unexpected comfort food, including grilled cacio e pepe.

The drinks program forms another compelling chapter. Designed to engage directly with the kitchen, the list includes a selection of signature cocktails on tap, some carbonated and poured through a traditional CO₂ draft system, others crafted using carbo-nitrogen for a creamier texture.

Big George – First Floor, for the Rest of the Night

Boredom has little chance here. After dinner, the natural move is upstairs.

Big George – First Floor is an elegant cocktail bar overlooking the courtyard through large glass windows, where music sets the tone and guests can settle into comfortable sofas or take a seat at the bar with a drink in hand.

The current cocktail menu is titled Gang, where names like Larry Dirty Colada, Harvey Spritz, Bill El Presidente, and Sharon Margarita make up a cast of recurring characters around which the bar’s narrative revolves—something like a resident ensemble accompanying the evening all the way to last call, one drink at a time.
